There are no formal club days although Sunday mornings have developed into more sociable times. The site is generally quite quiet though and you will often find yourself flying alone to the sound of birdsong, and just the company of Buzzards and Sheep; but occasionally, perfect conditions bring more flyers out and you might find you have the company of several others. It is the unexpected that is the appeal of this low key club.
In the summer months, there is the occasional barbecue organised on a warm evening.

The benefits of the flying field are not limited to flyers only. As it is set in picturesque, farming countryside there are plenty of things to attract friends and family such as relaxing in the sun with a book or walking to the coastline of Morecambe Bay. The lane adjacent to the field is a well used cycle way and walking route.
